An Evening with Thomas L. Friedman
December 01, 2016

Pulitzer Prize winning journalist, bestselling author, and New York Times columnist, Thomas L. Friedman, comes to the World Affairs Council of Philadelphia once again, this time to discuss his latest book, Thank You for Being Late: An Optimist's Guide to Thriving in the Age of Accelerations.

Described by the publisher as a “field guide to the twenty-first century,” Friedman’s new book “exposes the tectonic movements that are reshaping the world today and explains how to get the most out of them and cushion their worst impacts.”  Friedman aims to impact the way his readers view the world – the news, their careers, their kids’ education, and the “moral and geopolitical choices our country has to navigate.”
