This program will immerse students in a carefully structured study of Turkey through a humanities approach. An introduction to geography, history, art, architecture, education, and society will give students a context in which to understand the complex political issues facing this country today. Participants will have opportunities for discussion, meet scholars, and taste a variety of Turkish foods. Activities will be held on-site at the Council and in Washington, D.C. Seminar Benefits
January 12, 9:30 a.m. - 1:45 p.m., Location: University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology Students must apply individually.
