2008 Okumus/TAFSUS Turkey Fellows

TAFSUS/Okumus Fellows Program

Through the generosity of the Okumus Family and TAFSUS, the Council has been able to award partial fellowships for a study tour to Turkey over the past eight summers. Fifty area teachers and two students have been recipients of these fellowships. Plan to join scholars and previous fellows as they discuss this unique country, a bridge between Europe and Asia, and how you can incorporate teaching about Turkey in your own classroom instruction.
