Welcome to the Global Girls LEAD! Connections Center Marta Sahagún de Fox, wife of former Mexican President Vicente Fox, spoke to GGL participants on October 10, 2007. The Council gratefully acknowledges the support of Jayne and Walter Garrison and The Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania for this important program	Global Girls LEAD! (GGL) is a new Council initiative formed in conjunction with the Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania. It is an outgrowth of the leadership cultivation activities that the Council sponsors for area high school students that offer unparalleled access to information from political, business, academic and media leaders of our time. GGL membership and events are coordinated with the ongoing education and programming activities of the Council. Role models — women from the mid-Atlantic's corporate, academic and cultural communities — are invited to play an important part in assisting the young women participants identify their potential and life long skills for leadership through discussion, dialogue and other activities.
