September 20 - 27, 2006
The government of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea has decided to allow a limited number of Americans into the country later this year. No one knows when there will be another opportunity for Americans to visit North Korea — especially as it exists today. Our 12-day tour begins and ends in Beijing, entry point for North Korea. The highlight of our three days in the DPRK is the "Arirang Grand Mass Gymnastic and Artistic Performance" in Pyongyang: 100,000 people perfectly synchronized in a socialist realism extravaganza. Accompanying the group will be an expert lecturer, Dr. Kenneth Quinones, who has a wealth of diplomatic experience in North Korea.
$4,750 per person double occupancy; single supplement $895 plus airfare Beijing/Pyongyang; $435 plus international airfare U.S./Beijing roundtrip. Optional 2 days in Beijing; $695 plus $295 single supplement.
