Academic WorldQuest Trivia Competition 2018
February 22, 2018
The World Affairs Council of Philadelphia is happy to host, for the second year, its Academic WorldQuest International Trivia Competition and Education Fundraiser. Don’t miss out on this fun, fast-paced, interactive, Quizzo-style competition testing your global knowledge! Find out just how much you know about international affairs, geography, history and culture, while broadening your knowledge and networking with other globally-minded contestants.
Join Council members, students, corporate executives, young professionals, friends and family to compete in this challenging quiz game. Teams of four will compete for prizes…. and, of course, bragging rights! The first place high school team will represent the Philadelphia Council at the national competition on April 27 and 28, 2018 in Washington, D.C.
Most importantly, proceeds from this competition will support the Council’s education programs which serve 2,200 students in 81 schools and help to stimulate the development of creative thinking, problem-solving, teambuilding and similar leadership skills that constitute the currency of a knowledge economy.
For more information on the contest rules, access to preparation materials, or to register a high school student or team to qualify to go on to the national competition, please visit the event's Education page.
