Emerging India: A Growing Economic and Geopolitical Force
April 19, 2018

For decades, the World Affairs Council of Philadelphia has led citizen diplomat tours to exotic and important destinations through its Travel the World program.  These tours have included many ground breaking trips, such as one of the very first tours of its type to China in the 1970s, shortly after the U.S. had reopened relations with China, or tours to Cuba, which the Council is one of relatively few organizations in the country to hold a license from the Department of State to conduct such citizen diplomat tours to that country.  Now, the Council is doing it again, with our India Study Tour.

On this in-depth seminar tour you will be immersed in both the history and current events of the vibrant country of India - a country whose economy is booming.  Led by Craig Snyder, hear about regional and global security trends, the implications of those trends and U.S. roles and responsibilities in a changing world.

This discussion program will preview our India Seminar tour and the issues that tour will seek to illuminate.
