Hamilton's Caribbean
with Ambassador G. Phillip Hughes

January 29 - February 5

Uncover the forgotten connections between the Caribbean and 18th-century America on a cruise aboard the legendary sailing yacht, the Sea Cloud. From Barbados, sail to lush St. Lucia and dock in Soufrière Bay, set between the dramatic Pitons. On Nevis, the birthplace of Founding Father Alexander Hamilton, visit his childhood home. Call at St. Kitts and St. Eustatius, two small islands whose histories shaped the course of the American Revolution. Enjoy the white sand beaches of St. Barthélemy before stepping ashore at Iles des Saintes, site of the most significant naval battle ever fought in the Caribbean between the British and the French, then disembark in Antigua.  Former U.S. Ambassador to Barbados, G. Philip Hughes, will lecture on the tour.

From $8,999 per person – a savings of $1,000 if you book by May 31!

Hamilton’s Caribbean

“Ambassador Hughes was a great asset. His talks were excellent, and he was always charming, helpful, and a great raconteur. He went out of his way to arrange extra experiences and to take us to some excellent restaurants on unscheduled meals.” -Joanne Sanders, CO
